BIOT MEDIEVAL AND THE TEMPLARS

Description of Biot a Templar city in the Middle Ages that has retained its old authentic village, that why every year, the City of Biot is transformed into a medieval town; quality programming, faithful to history is realized

For this event we will rent customs (prince, princess, medieval knight templar etc. ) and do a walking tour through the historic buildings to the Church of St. Mary Magdalene.

Conviviality, sharing and festive immersed in the Middle Ages are scheduled.

Preparing you to live to the rhythm of the Middle Ages in three exceptional days in Biot and the Templars are preparing the program:

Troops came from France, Italy, Germany and Spain are mobilized during the weekend to plunge the city in the time of the Templars.
Five camps and 300 participants will be present!

chivalry and medieval falconry shows,
reconstructions of fighting,
the wanderings and street shows …
The evening of Saturday evening will start at 20h by a big parade in the historical center led by costumed troops and accompanied medieval music.

Wine and sharing bread Templar will be the end of the parade on the Place de Gaulle called for the occasion « Grand Place Templar » and will launch the start of the medieval ball where a band will introduce the public the intricacies of medieval dance.
