In this 3 months there is a high possibility to get snow on the roads between Argentina and Chile (Jama and SICO pass) and between Chile to Bolivia (Hito Cajón Pass). Many tourist lost services in the another side of the andes when they get the border and must return to the places to departure because snow storms blocked the pass. It’s recommendable to plan your trip out of this season….less risk.
If you plan is cross the Andes on June-July-August…beware with the snow!
