Timbavati Game Reserve

This workshop is hosted in the Timbavati Game Reserve, which has open borders with the Kruger National Park. The Timbavati is well known for its game viewing including the legendary White Lions. We have workshops planned throughout the year: April – May is cooling down and drying out and therefore animals congregate around water holes, making them easier to find and photograph. August – September will be dry, with less vegetation and once again animals will congregate around water holes in a dusty atmosphere excellent for back-lit shots. November is an excellent time to get photographs of the migratory birds, dramatic cloud formations, the first Impala lambs and births of other young animals.
