<p>Meet me at the harbour. I will deal with the tickets of the hydrofoil that takes 50 minutes from Naples and 30 minutes from Sorrento. After the crossing we’ll get to Marina Grande, the main harbour of Capri Island. It’s the island’s third biggest town and due to its facilities it is much more frequented by tourists. From Marina Grande a taxi will lead us to Anacapri centre, located in the western part of the island. It’s surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and it is a peaceful tourist resort crossed by pleasant streets which reach the historic centre. We will discover the beauties of this pretty village getting to the Belvedere and the Phoenician staircase. Also a must are the Villa St. Michael owned by the Swedish medial doctor Axel Munthe and the chair lift to Mount Solaro for a 360 degrees view of the island on a clear day. Re-board the taxi for the brief drive to Capri, the main centre, more charming and elegant. We’ll walk along the characteristic narrow streets around the Piazzetta (the main square). It is the heart of the town and one of the most famous places of the island because among the tables of the cafis and bar you can meet tourists and artists, common people and great names, all attracted by the simple beauty of this area. Time at your disposal for lunch. From the Piazzetta we’ll reach together the Augustus Gardens, the most panoramic spot of Capri centre located on a terrace above the sea and set in luxuriant vegetation. From the Gardens you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Faraglioni rocks and Krupp road. We’ll take the Funicular (cable car) which takes the shortest route to the harbour: in five minutes it covers a distance of 650 m. crossing lush vegetation. According to the agreed departure time the hydrofoil will take you back to the starting point.</p>
