Hi, my name is Ann, and I am offering You the 6h Helsinki + Suomenlinna Island mixed ”Walk & Boat” tour in English. It is just so much nicer to visit a new place on your journey with a knowledgeable and friendly local, do you agree?! So why be all on your own?!

After having seen Helsinki, we will take a boat to Suomenlinna island and have a stroll around the encient fortress walls. The legendary Suomenlinna Fortress is the Unesco Heritage Site and is definitely a must-see place when in Helsinki! It is located on the nearby islands, the boat trip from the mainland takes only 20 min and will give you also a chance to admire Helsinki views from water. Thus, on this tour, we will experience both the urbanity and the nature that form Helsinki and its surroundings.

The ticket to Suomenlinna is an ordinary Helsinki public transport ticket. You will need to take the 1-day ticket. The cost is 9 € and can be purchased on the spot, before entering the boat. This payment is NOT part of the tour price, it is separately paid by you and you can use the ticket for the entire day after the tour, for ex. on trams or the metro.

I am a licensed Helsinki guide and I have conducted various tours for quite a while. My guiding style is « educational and entertaining », meaning that you will have loads of facts presented in an easy, fun, and friendly manner.
