Nous commencerons la visite par une évocation de l’histoire du bâtiment, avec les vestiges du Louvre médiéval, puis nous verrons deux chefs-d’œuvre de l’art grec (Vénus de Milo et Victoire de Samothrace), avant de nous diriger vers l’impressionnante collection d’art italien, où nous nous attarderons sur quelques oeuvres célèbres de Léonard de Vinci et de Véronèse, avant de voir des tableaux français du XIXe siècle (Sacre de Napoléon de David, Le Radeau de la Méduse de Géricault, La Liberté guidant le Peuple de Delacroix). Nous finirons par des sculptures italiennes de Michel-Ange et de Canova.

Discover the most famous works of art of Louvre wihtout being lost in this huge museum!

We will start the guided tour by the history of the building, visiting the medieval moal, then we will see two famous Greek sculptures (Vénus de Milo and th Winged Victory of Samothrace), before going towards the impressive Italian art collection, where we will see some famous works of art by Leonardo Da Vinci (of course among them the Mona Lisa). We will then see some French paintings of the 19th century (David, Géricault, Delacroix), which will be a great opportunity to explain a little bit the French history. We will finsih the tour with sculptures of Michelangelo and Canova.
