Enjoy a walk through the Roman city Dougga .
In the morning, departure to Dougga – often called Roman Pompey of Tunisia, noted for the variety and beauty of its monuments. It is situated on a mountain and dominates the wheat and corn valleys below, that allows beautiful views both inside the city and of its sorruonding area.
We’ll visit the Lybico-Punic Mausoleum – one of the most amazing and wonderful monuments in the world. It dates back to 3rd century BCE, and it would be worth the whole trip to Dougga in itself. We will also visit the main monuments of the city like the capitol,the theatre,the houses …
End of the tour and return to the hotel /ship.
